Art d'Asie
Paris 6/12/19 SALE 17457
174 LOTS

Exceptional Chinese, Southeast Asian and Japanese works of art come to auction at Christie's Paris this June. Our Chinese section features a superb selection of Qing dynasty pieces, headlined by a finely carved white and russet jade 'double-gourd' vase and cover from the Qianlong period. Other highlights include a massive imperial Kangxi cloisonné enamel vase and an exquisite embroidered silk robe dating from the late Qianlong-early Jiaqing period, depicting nine 'five-claw' dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl.

Amongst the fine pieces from distinguished private European collections on offer, collectors also have the opportunity to acquire a celadon-glazed vase with the Qianlong six-character seal mark from a French collection and a Qing dynasty rock crystal figure of a deer, once belonging to Coco Chanel.
