Cavafy, a landmark set of etchings explored in Neil MacGregor’s A History of the World in 100 Objects for their significance to the sexual revolution of the 1960s. Iconic pop and graffiti art is represented by Keith Haring’s Retrospect, made in the last months of his life and showcasing many of his most famous motifs, and Stik’s powerful Liberty figures. Also featured is Checkmate, a collection of artist’s chessboards, with Josef Hartwig’s revolutionary Bauhaus chess set accompanied by distinctive works by Man Ray, Rachel Whiteread and Tracey Emin.
