Providing an array of riches with over 200 jewels, boxes, sculptures and mirrors from Marie-Laure Bonnaud-Vautrin, the daughter of famed designer Line Vautrin, this sale includes several unique pieces as well as previously unseen models on the market, some of which were specifically designed for the artist’s private collection. The estimates range from €300 to €100,000. Many of the bronze works are decorated with rebuses or poems from great French writers such as Rimbaud, Prévert and Verlaine, earning the artist the name of ‘Poetess of Metal’.

The sale presents many mirrors produced in Talosel, a form of resin Line Vautrin patented in 1960, amongst which the highlight of the collection: this convex mirror entitled Si tous les gars du monde, inspired by the eponymous song by Marcel Achard
