Results: The March Fine Jewels sale totalled £3,797,750, with over 70% of lots selling above their pre-sale high estimate. Named pieces and large diamonds performed exceptionally well, with a pair of jadeite Cartier earrings far exceeding the pre-sale estimates. With a selling rate of 90% by lot and 95% by value, 2017 jewellery sales in London have got off to a tremendous start.
